FANNIN COUNTY ALARM ORDINANCE
Effective July 15, 2009, Fannin County is requiring all new and existing alarm customers to register their alarm systems with the county.
The ordinance was instituted due to excessive false
alarms which limited law enforcement resources. "The purpose of this ordinance is to establish reasonable expectations of alarm users and to ensure that alarm users are held responsible for their use of alarm systems."
